A passionate chef since childhood, Alain Llorca trained at the hotel school in Nice.
He began his career as head chef at Les Peintres restaurant in Cagnes-sur-Mer, where he earned his first Michelin star — a major achievement for a young chef.

His rise continued in 1996 when he took over the kitchens of the iconic Le Negresco palace in Nice. There, he obtained two Michelin stars thanks to his contemporary and bold Mediterranean cuisine. He made his mark on the French culinary scene, quickly becoming a leading figure in Southern cuisine.

In 2004, he was invited to succeed Roger Vergé at the Moulin de Mougins, an iconic establishment in French gastronomy. Over four years, he displayed his creativity, cementing his status among the greatest chefs of his generation.

In 2009, he opened his own restaurant in La Colle-sur-Loup, which now bears his name. There, he offers sincere, generous cuisine deeply rooted in the Mediterranean.
Three years later, he earned a new Michelin star, rewarding both his talent and his culinary sensibility.

Today, Alain Llorca is recognized as a passionate and creative chef, who brings the South of France to life with excellence and innovation.

My cuisine tells a story: that of the Mediterranean, of my roots, and the emotion shared in every plate.
