From Vosges, this young pastry chef has an impressive career in prestigious houses such as: MARC VEYRAT, JEAN GEORGES KLEIN, HOTEL DE PARIS ET LOUIS XV MONACO ALAIN DUCASSE, PLAZA ATHENE PARIS with CHRISTOPHE MICHALAK, Château de la Chèvre D'or in Eze, he refused to accept proposals in France, but also abroad, the last refusal was the Elysée for President Emmanuel Macron, before taking the decision to settle.
Over the years, Julien took part in various competitions during which he received the following distinctions: 3rd in the European hampionship, vice champion of Europe then winner of the European Cup. As well as two selections of the Pastry World Cup including one where he joins the French team as a substitute and many others!
In 2010 Julien joined the Château de la Chèvre d'Or as Executive Pastry Chef, where he became a consultant from January 2022 and ended in December 2022, to devote himself entirely to his shop!
The Chef is also a member of the Heads of State Club since 2017, one of the most private clubs in the world, since it brings together most of the Chefs de cuisine of Presidents, Royalty and Principality, following his collaboration with Prince Albert of Monaco.
In 2021, he signed a partnership with Parfum CHRISTIAN DIOR, for the first time in history for this great luxury brand, chose Julien DUGOURD to create a little cake that Christian Dior had dreamt of: The Vanilla Diorama is released at the same time as the Vanilla Diorama perfume which carries some notes of the cupcake.
The release of his book in November 2021 « Mes pâtisseries, mon parcours, ma résilience » was a great success for pastry fans.
The transmission of his passion is essential for JULIEN DUGOURD who is today one of the recognized chefs in France but also abroad. This is why, in parallel with the shop that will be located in Nice and will open its doors in June 2023, JULIEN DUGOURD wants to host internships in Pastry for amateurs and Professionals, in order to transmit to them his know-how and his passion for his profession.
